Joyride!

I’m talking Dave Stringer’s new CD, and what a joyride it is.  It hasn’t been released yet, but we have a preview in this week’s podcast.  I’ve been listening to the masters for several weeks, and it was hard to choose a favorite to share with you.  The chant I chose was one I heard Dave & his band perform last spring.  It was my first live kirtan concert, so this one is dear to my heart–and it’s great to sing to.  I hope you enjoy it also.  Namaste.

    Namasté, Kitzies.

May I please offer that the lady’s name is pronounced “Lah-rees-uh”?
Thanks for posting her music, but Shakti Sessions is more indicative of what they are writing and performing now (the two you chose from Reaching In are more like tone-poems).

    Shantih

Hi Timananda, and thanks for letting me know how to pronounce Larisa’s name. Usually we do pranayama for the first 4-5 minutes of the satsang, that’s why I used those selections at the beginning of the podast. I can’t wait to play some of her other songs, it will be hard to choose a favorite to share.

Thanks for stopping by & commenting.
